“What excitement.” The young woman thought to herself out loud. Her tone had obviously been a sarcastic tone; barely anything had seemed to amuse this woman no matter what. The battle field had more than likely been the only thing which seemed to amuse her, and very little did anything else. But having been raised by that of a Council member, it had been obvious. She wasn’t one to be amused over something so little.
However, excitement wasn’t the thing which Isabel had actually gone to Vulcanus for. The city of Caliga may have had their own share of restaurants, but nothing within the city had seemed to meet her fancy. The only decent place for her to buy food had obviously been Vulcanus, or some other area within the Cubile. Just not Caliga. She may have been raised in the city, but Caliga alone hadn’t been anything compared to Vulcanus. Just from that it had began to make her wish that she would simply move there. But her family, or at least her adopted family had lived in Caliga, and that was something which she really couldn’t do. At least not yet.
Moving her hand through her long black hair, Isabel would then begin to head into a nearby restaurant. The dress on which she had been wearing had been a long, elegant black dress which had various designs on the bottom of the dress which had mostly been made up of red flowers. Covering her arms had been a pair of loose sleeves that hadn’t been attached to the dress, more so hanging from her elbows and down. Placing her hand gently upon the doorknob. Opening the door gradually, she would simply let out a low yawn.
Once she had been inside, she would begin to move towards one of the waiters. “Table for one,” Isabel said while crossing her hands over one another. “And make it a booth.” She then added on. She couldn’t stand sitting anywhere else. Simply sitting on a chair in the middle of the room was not something which she had often found enjoyable. The booths had often at times been near the windows, and often brought more excitement into ones life. But again, excitement wasn’t something which she had come to Vulcanus for.
((OOC: Decided to end it there. Can’t really think of much, really. Maybe the next few posts there might be more, but as for now that's really it. >>; ))

Fiddling with his spoon Dietrich looked boredly upon his soup. The menu said it was a delicious chicken broth, sprinkled with spicy herbs, filled with a variety of vegetables, and than had a few slices of chicken breast to wrap it up. So far he had only taken a few sips, and he had to agree the soup was delicious, but something else seemed to be on his mind. Always his mind was on the War, his army, and his battle plans. If it weren’t for his following Generals who asked with concern for him to take the day off he actually wouldn’t be here. Those guys really didn’t know what they were talking about. Saying his mind was too much into his work. Yes, he had been day after day working and strategizing, but what did they expect? He was the Chief General and many people were counting on him.
Putting the sthingy next to the shining white plate he lazily took his bread and ripped it into fourths. Placing one piece of his soup he chewed thoughtfully his eyes on the ceiling. The stress of work had actually taking a toll. Both his eyes that had two colored orbs were beginning to form black circles, and more stubble was showing than usual on his chin. It was hard enough today to appear clean and dressing up properly so he didn’t look like a complete slob.
He was wearing his usual attire of a long sleeved shirt, his jerkin, pants, boots, and his belt. On the other side of his booth laid his sword, which he glanced at constantly as if it were a child that might suddenly wander away. Other than the sword he carried no other weapons, not really thinking there was much danger in Vulcanus. It was a large busy city, and it was within the Ancient Diabolus Cubile. Only someone stupid from Flamen would try to assassinate him here. Or they could simply be desperate.
“Is everything fine General Zavyon?” A voice suddenly broke his thoughts and his daydreaming gaze went upon the waiter who seemed uneasy. As if saying something wrong would receive punishment. With a small grin he replied happily, “Everything just fine. You guys don’t lie about having good food.”
The waiter began to become more comfortable and actually smiled back at him. Giving a quick nod the man went to other tables, seeming satisfied with Dietrich’s answer. He wasn’t all hard-core army guy if you got to know him. Some people, like the waiter, just feared he unleash his vicious wrath upon them. Not to say he couldn’t be vicious…

As Isabel would begin to head towards her table, she would then begin to notice probably more than a familiar face. Or at least one which she had often seen either pictures of or heard others talk about. Perking a brow, she would then begin to let out a low chuckle. She hadn’t expected to see such a figure there, she expected someone who had the greatest authority to be somewhere fancier than this little restaurant. Then again, what was she doing there? She was the daughter of a former high council member who had been forced to go into war, and there she was. Still living within a council member’s home, and being raised by one.
“My, my.” Isabel said while walking up to Dietrich’s table. “What a pleasant surprise, the Chief General in such an area of the Cubile. What brings you here, sir?” Isabel would ask, while she’d soon ignore her waiter, she wasn’t all too concerned about where she would sit. After all, she could with ease snag a spot and order someone out of their table just from the mention of her class.
Yes, that was Isabel for you. A woman who seemed to think she could receive possibly anything in the world, but at the same time had given off that type of attitude where she could care less for anyone or anything that wasn’t of her interest or what she was after. She had also appeared to be that of a spoiled brat, but at times she wouldn’t even bother to give off such an impression. All she was was simply trying to get some food, and get out of there. But apparently such a face wasn’t going to allow her to do so. “And if your going to bother asking, no. I’m no fan girl of yours. I could care less, actually.” She said once more. She felt as though that was necessary to be said. Though now that she had said it, she already began to figure that it wasn’t the best thing to say. But she once again, could care less.
Though as the waiter would continue to try and escort Isabel to her table, she would simply raise her right hand, as if ordering them to stop talking. In fact, that was exactly what she was going for. She was not interested in hearing anything from such a lower creature telling her where to go. She figured that as long as she was an upperclassman, she should be capable of seating herself and doing as she pleased. But apparently such a restaurant didn’t work in such a way.

About to try out his soup again he was again bothered by another voice. This time it wasn’t of the waiter, but of a girl. Looking her over quickly he could easily recognize she wasn’t of any lower class here. Having to know these types of things he assumed she was of the wealthy and how she spoke to him almost informally he guessed a relative of someone’s. He was glad she hadn’t called him Dietrich; otherwise she would have crossed the line with being friendly. It was understandable when a General talked to him like this, but not some stranger who supposed she could just because she was higher in the food chain.
A small frown parted on his face at first, eyeing the girl curiously wondering what she wanted. Putting his metal spoon down he replied, “Just taking a day off and having a quiet meal. Well… at least till now.” He had been blunt and rude, but it fit his personality. As long as she wasn’t the daughter of the Leader or Priest he could care less. Council members he knew were also high on the food chain, but they were the ones that asked him if he wanted this job. They knew his personality and that he was rough at times.
At her next comment a smirk curled on his face. Not a fan girl? “That’s too bad. I was so ready to ask one of these waiters for a pen.” he replied a little sarcasm in his tone. “No matter. Do you mind me asking who exactly you are miss?”
For once in his life Dietrich wasn’t exactly acting gentleman like. Usually in front of young ladies he talk kinder, offer them a seat, and asked if they’d like something to eat. This girl so far in his multi colored eyes didn’t deserve such treatment. At the moment she appeared spoiled, taking total advantage of her higher class. Personally he hated spoiled people, even if he couldn’t totally say he didn’t take advantage of his rank time to time. How she stood now holding her hand up like some snob was edging him towards snapping at her.
If this woman had been one of his soldier’s he would had his sword to her throat. It was almost disappointing that she wasn’t, as he would have enjoyed watching her crumble and break.

As it appeared, now she was about to have some fun. She enjoyed getting others mad the moment she had met them, especially if it was someone of the higher class. She however, could care less on whom he was, no matter how he seemed to act towards her.
“Isabel Itziar.” She responded, while turning her head towards the other direction. “I believe you should know the name already if you remember the names Sandalio and Rita Itziar. Two former high council members who ended up fighting in your pathetic war.” That had been a lie. She knew it wasn’t pathetic; in fact she wanted the Ancient Diabolus to win. But due to how things had been going on, it seemed as though things weren’t going to end anytime soon.
Boy, if she was a Chief General and had capability of controlling the missions, she knew, or at least thought she would have the ability to end this war within the moment it started. She had a few strategy plans, but she wasn’t entirely willing to share. If she was ever going to get a glory moment, she wanted to make sure the glory was directed toward her, and her alone and no one else. Especially that of the Chief General.
“Enjoy your food, sir.” Isabel soon commented while she’d place her hands behind her back, only to walk off with her head up high. Taking a seat a few tables behind, Isabel would then snap her fingers once more, waiting for a waiter to show up. Once one did, she would then begin to point to a few items on the menu. Nothing all too fancy, as she didn’t want to seem as though she had been the wealthiest person in the world, but at times she often had shown this when she wasn’t.
The previous conversation with the Chief General had seemed to be more amusing in her point of view than ever. She enjoyed stirring up trouble towards those who had been in the army, especially the generals. If she had ever been in the army, she knew for a fact that she wouldn’t take anything form those who had ordered her around. It had simply been in her nature to ignore orders from others, after all, she was one who had thought everything she had done was right, and everyone else was wrong. But of course, that was just her.

An amused smile crossed his face at her comment about the War. The rest of her talk about her family he could careless about. He was good at remembering names, and when each name was said a picture popped into his head, but he still ignored that they had any relation to this brat. Going back to her comment about the War he didn’t bother to comment. Not that he was steamed about it now. He just personally thought a girl as she didn’t even know what she was saying. If she didn’t remember, this War had been going on for many many years. Even before he was born. The one she was calling pathetic was the former General who was killed. Oh well, he’d keep that little secret to himself.
“You to m’lady.” he replied with a polite nod, picking up another piece of bread as she wandered off. Dunking it into the hot soup he continued to properly eat. Unlike some men he actually ate without creating a mess. And even if the slightly bit of soup dripped off the bowl he quickly too the napkin laying on his pants and wiped it off. He wasn’t a germ freak, but like to keep an area clean and organized.
Only glancing once at Isabel he continued to go over the quick series of events that happened. It was too bad she wasn’t on the Flamen side. If so he would have right here and right now zapped her little mouth shut.
Hiding the steam under an emotionless mask he occasionally wore, he slowly finished his meal.
